From year 2008 I have more or less every year went to Hagafellsjöklar, outlet glaciers in Langjökull ice cap in Iceland. The purpose of the visits is to measure changes in the glacier. Since I started this, the glaciers have retreated every year. Most years I have gone with my brother but also invited other with me some of the years.
The photo above is from the visit year 2020, Hagafellsjökull Vestari. The photo below is the same place in year 2022. As you can see the small lagoon is now disconnected from the glacier and only a small part of the lagoon was visible in year 2020.
